Chris de Vry Pretoria, South Africa
- What started as a mere hobby and interest in Clivias has grown to a level where the collection is today a breeding plantation. Chris has been working closely with both Gawie Lötter and Gert Esterhuizen to grow Clivias. Today he has a extended plantation of yellow miniata plants, mostly procured from seed from respected growers. He is also taking care of the prized collection of Clivias from Nick Primich which Gert Esterhuizen has bought some years ago.
- His interest is mostly focused at the production of large yellow flowering clivas, yellow variegated miniata and the breeding of improved peach and pink miniata plants.

- Chris has been active with the growing of Clivias for more than ten years. He is an active member within the Northern Clivia Club, SA and he is a regular judge at in Clivia shows. Chris is a proud owner of prize winning plants at shows.
- Chris has an extensive collection of Clivias that he has build-up over years into a fine collection and breeding plantation. One of the outstanding characteristics of his Clivia breeding plantation is the vast diversity of colourful flowers.
- His breeding stock includes a large number of Coromandel plant material from which he produces spectacular pastel colours and also flowers with green throats.
Gawie Lötter Pretoria, South Africa
- Gawie is known as one of the silent gentlemen within the Clivia community and not very many people has been exposed to the extend of work he has personally put into the improvement of yellow miniata plants. Today Gawie is producing some of the finest yellow miniata plants employing his own improvement strategies.
- Gawie is a brother to both Christo Lötter and Wessel Lötter, all well know as experts within the Clivia community of South Africa.
